Snowdrop Appeal 2021

Once again we are asking local gardeners for donations of snowdrops "in the green" which means passing on plants just after flowering while their leaves are still green.  Snowdrop donations from previous years have given Milngavie a wonderful “ Headstart to Spring”, as they are popping up everywhere in the Town Centre.

We are planning to divide some of the snowdrop plants by the station steps and make an even bigger show in this area. However, we do need more plants for other areas, and Lennox Park is one of the new areas we are tackling. We always need more in the West Highland Way beds.

Residents may leave bags of snowdrops behind the Youth Centre in Mugdock Road Car Park or at 45 Breadie Drive.  If you would like us to pick up the plants, email us at milngavie-in-bloom@hotmail.com.   With thanks to all who have given to the snowdrop project in the past, we can only achieve the Spring  Snowdrop Show with your help.
