Our Cleansweep team will be cleaning up the precinct, core carparks and key roads around the town on Wednesday 11th June and we would welcome new volunteers who want to join in for Milngavie Week. We meet at 10am, outside The Fraser Centre.

Volunteers will also lead guided walks around the town on Wednesday 11th June - at 2pm and 7pm. This is an opportunity to find out more about what MiB do and to see the many areas that we look after. There is no need to book you place in advance, just meet us outside the Fraser Centre at the above times.

Health & Safety

To prevent accidents while you are volunteering, please read our Health & Safety guidance before you participate in any of our activities - this is not only for your own safety, but also for the safety of those you will be working alongside.

We would remind all volunteers to wear appropriate clothing particularly in wet weather, sturdy footwear (boots or wellies advised) and gloves at all times. You can use your own gardening/litter picking tools if you have them, but if not we have a supply in the tool shed.

If you use the tool shed you will find wipes and hand sanitiser available. Any tools should be wiped before and after use. Please ensure that you turn off the light and change the padlock code.
