Lennox Park Bulb Planting 2021

​

We are starting a phased bulb planting scheme in Lennox Park starting this Saturday 23rd October.

We welcome all our volunteers and other residents who wish to improve the park as part of a wider initiative.

Meet along from Gavin’s Mill at 10am on the upper path.  Tools provided but if you have your own bulb planter please bring it. Wear stout shoes, gloves, rainwear and bring your own refreshments.

Community Fundraiser Vacancy

​

We have a vacancy for a Community Fundraiser. You would not need to take on a gardening or clean sweep role, but you would be joining an active committee dedicated to keeping Milngavie ‘clean and green’.  

​

We already have a Grant Fundraiser but your role would be principally to manage the production of our annual fundraising calendar and work with a team.   Other work includes helping the Treasurer to bring in funds from the community at events, work with traders, and occasional letters to Milngavie residents to request funds.  You don’t need experience of this kind of work as training will be given, but any community fundraising experience or new ideas are very welcome.   If you would like to have a conversation with our Chair and outgoing Community Fundraiser please do get in touch.
